Mike Lumpkin is the Senior Pastor of University Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Mike is committed to expository preaching (the meaning of the text IS the meaning of the message) and church health coming through the consistent proclamation of the Word of God.
On a personal note, Mike loves spending time with his family (Wife, Jan and five children, Anna, Elizabeth, Lydia, Ruth, and Jonathan)…and his two dogs (there are also two cats, but this is about what he loves). His passions for theology and church health are complimented by an enjoyment of running, outdoor sports, motorcycles, music, and learning.
“I am so thankful for God placing us in Fayetteville among the people of University Baptist Church. Our opportunity in NW Arkansas is great and by God’s sovereign grace I have great hope that His glory and renown will be apparent in our midst, resulting in God’s gracious work in saving students, faculty, and whole families.”

Enjoy your notes. I just giggled because I can hear you speaking as if you were back in the podium. We sure do miss you and the girls. Send kisses and hugs to Anna, Elizabeth and Jan. We will keep you guys in our prayers.
All is good at the Threlkeld house.
